Närke

The Närke mattress embodies the experience and expertise of Swedish hand craftsmanship. It is a creation rooted in the Swedish sleep tradition and the skill of our experts, offering you an unparalleled level of comfort.

Hälsa presents Närke, a unique mattress inspired by nature and centered on enhancing human life and harmony with the natural world.

Horsehair

Hälsa uses specially sourced horsehair from Austria, one of the rarest and most valuable materials in the bed-making industry. Horsehair has been prized for centuries for its ability to provide excellent air circulation within the mattress, preventing moisture build-up and acting as natural ventilation. The Närke mattress redefines the concept of sleep, offering a healthy rest for everyone. Its structure supports the natural shape of the body, regardless of body mass index, and adapts to your movements during sleep. Horsehair is free of harmful substances and breathable, ensuring comfort and health throughout the night.

Unique Handcrafting

Hälsa combines traditional handcrafting skills with advanced technologies in its mattresses. Each mattress is meticulously crafted by skilled artisans using innovative techniques. Handcrafted in Sweden, Hälsa mattresses offer a comfortable sleep experience, prioritizing human health and nature to ensure a safe and healthy rest.

Natural Cotton

Cotton is the third most used plant for bedding, following linen and wool. The quality of cotton is determined by the length of its fibers. Hälsa selects the longest and most natural fibers to create perfect cotton. This careful selection allows natural cotton to breathe better and remain dry, ensuring it effectively balances your body temperature during sleep.

Belgian Flax

Hälsa selects the finest linen plants with the longest fibers to create luxurious Belgian Linen fabric. This robust and bright material has been valued for thousands of years for its natural feel and luxurious quality. Its moisture-absorbent feature adds a sense of freshness, making it the perfect choice for those who appreciate naturalness and purity.

ProFlex® Spring System

ProFlex® is a durable spring technology from Sweden that ensures your spine stays correctly aligned. Reflecting the quality and purity of Swedish steel, ProFlex® offers high durability. Hälsa, the first bedding company to use ProFlex®, continues the Swedish tradition of durable mattresses. Unlike stand

ard spring systems, ProFlex® adjusts well between different zones thanks to its technological variations in same-sized springs, providing an ideal sleep environment. It aligns with your spine’s natural position, offering controlled support.

The 5 Zone Spring System, part of ProFlex®, provides five different comfort levels to support sensitive body areas. The springs are aligned to support your shoulders, lower back, spine, and hips, offering an ergonomic bed surface. This system maintains your body’s natural shape, helps your muscles relax, and promotes healthy blood circulation, minimizing numbness in the morning

Less Partner Disturbance Technology

Developed by sleep experts for Hälsa, this technology minimizes the transfer of pressure across the mattress, reducing involuntary movements between partners. It ensures a comfortable and high-quality sleep experience for each individual.

Your mattress is designed for double-sided use. Each surface has a different level of comfort. You can try both surfaces and sleep on the side that suits you. We recommend that you use the other side 2-3 times a year in 1-month periods. In this way, you can protect the form of the surface you use for a longer time.

We recommend rotation in such a way that the foot end-bedside displacement is 1 and 3 weeks after you start using your new Hälsa mattress. In this way, your mutual habituation process with the bed will progress more healthily. Rotation is an important application to increase the life of the mattress and maintain the comfort level. With regular rotation, your mattress resists the applied regional pressure for a longer time.

The type and rate of pressure applied to the bed differ according to body weight and anatomy. For individuals weighing 100 kg or more, we recommend following the rotation and turning instructions in order to preserve the form of the mattress for many years.

Beds with slats or similarly spaced out are not suitable for using spring mattresses.

Why is the Use of Mattress Protectors Important?

A mattress protector is a protective layer placed between the mattress and the sheet. Acting as a barrier, it shields the mattress from dirt, sweat, dust particles, moisture, and other unwanted substances. Mattress protectors not only resist spills, stains, and leaks but also naturally extend the life of your mattress by keeping it clean and free from these contaminants.

How Often Should I Change My Mattress?

Regardless of how well you care for your bed, there will come a time when you need to replace your mattress. Your preferred sleeping position and body shape affect how your weight is distributed on the mattress. Regularly following mattress care instructions can extend its life, and using a suitable base is also crucial.

If you’ve been using the same bed for many years, you might wonder if it’s time for a change. Signs that it’s time to replace your mattress include waking up with pain, spasms, cramps, numbness, or stiffness; tossing and turning at night; not feeling rested upon waking; waking up due to your partner’s movements; and difficulty falling asleep. Changing your mattress is essential for your sleep quality and overall well-being, making it a valuable investment in your health.

Why is it Necessary to Change Beddings Regularly?

Regularly changing your bedding is crucial for maintaining the hygiene of your sleeping environment. Sweat, skin residues, and moisture can lead to the growth of microorganisms if bedding is not frequently sterilized. Therefore, regular bedding changes are necessary for mattress care and to ensure a clean sleeping environment.

How to Ensure Sleep Environment Hygiene?

Hälsa mattresses, made from entirely natural materials, breathe naturally. To maintain sleep environment hygiene, allow your bed to be ventilated regularly with each bedding change. This helps the mattress breathe and maintain its freshness.

How Should I Clean My Mattress?

We spend about a third of our lives in bed, so it’s important to take steps to keep it clean. Regular mattress cleaning helps reduce allergens in your bedroom and keeps your mattress looking and feeling new for many years. To prevent spots from setting or mold from forming, take quick action. Mattress cleaning is simpler than you might think and can be done with basic cleaning tools and common household supplies.
