Stockholm
When you sleep at night, you may find yourself next to the sea or lake, listening to the sound of the waves. Or refresh yourself with the water breeze. The Stockholm Bed provides a natural heat balance, reflecting the natural and simple traditions of Scandinavian style.
Its special fabric provides you a peaceful and healthy sleep. There are 10 different size options for Stockholm single and double mattresses.
Natural Cotton
The quality of cotton, which is the oldest and most widely used natural plant fiber after linen and wool, is also determined by the length of its fibers. Cotton fibers are carefully selected and combined with the most natural and long ones so that they can breathe much better and stay dry. While balancing your body temperature with its natural structure, the Stockholm mattress creates a structure that is friendly to your skin.
British Wool
British wool, the highest quality and most natural form of wool is suitable for four seasons. Wool provides insulation against heat and cold. It regulates ambient humidity. So, it helps you maintain your body temperature without sweating. It also allows you to get a sound sleep. While adapting to your body with its whole structure, it also recovers immediately with its flexibility and transforms your bed back after you get up. British wool is a durable and long-lasting natural material that protects the health of your bed and you.
Less Partner Disturbance Technology
Sleep experts specially develop this technology for Hälsa mattresses. It minimally reflects the pressure change in one area of the mattress to other sites. Thus, it diminishes the problem of spouses being affected by others’ involuntary rotational movements during sleep. After all, Stockholm promises everyone uninterrupted and highly comfortable sleep throughout the night. Hälsa mattresses that have this technology are produced to Swedish quality standards.
Nature & Health
Hälsa focuses on improving your sleep quality for the best functioning of the natural sleep cycle. We work with sleep experts to get the best performance from sleep that a quarter of our lives go through. Melatonin is triggered in the dark and secreted during sleep. Our body adjusts its biological clock to bring us a healthier life. Quality and regular sleep make the immune system stronger.
Hälsa is dedicated to health and nature with its nature-inspired understanding and natural raw materials.
ProPocket® Spring System
Especially the springs, each individually packaged and able to operate independently, provide personalized spine support. It perfectly adapts to different body types.
ProPocket® invites you to a unique world of Hälsa sleep with its excellent comfort, which is formed by a sense of springiness and flexibility. ProPocket® distributes the weight of your body equally to the bed thanks to its separate packages and creates a movement adaptable springing effect. A high number of springs per square meter means an enhanced number of springs that contact our bodies. Hence, it provides a healthier environment for the spine, which obtains support from more points.
Your mattress is designed for double-sided use. Each surface has a different level of comfort. You can try both surfaces and sleep on the side that suits you. We recommend that you use the other side 2-3 times a year in 1-month periods. In this way, you can protect the form of the surface you use for a longer time.
We recommend rotation in such a way that the foot end-bedside displacement is 1 and 3 weeks after you start using your new Hälsa mattress. In this way, your mutual habituation process with the bed will progress more healthily. Rotation is an important application to increase the life of the mattress and maintain the comfort level. With regular rotation, your mattress resists the applied regional pressure for a longer time.
The type and rate of pressure applied to the bed differ according to body weight and anatomy. For individuals weighing 100 kg or more, we recommend following the rotation and turning instructions in order to preserve the form of the mattress for many years.
Beds with slats or similarly spaced out are not suitable for using spring mattresses.
Why is the Use of Mattress Protectors Important?
A mattress protector is a protective layer placed between the mattress and the sheet. Acting as a barrier, it shields the mattress from dirt, sweat, dust particles, moisture, and other unwanted substances. Mattress protectors not only resist spills, stains, and leaks but also naturally extend the life of your mattress by keeping it clean and free from these contaminants.
How Often Should I Change My Mattress?
Regardless of how well you care for your bed, there will come a time when you need to replace your mattress. Your preferred sleeping position and body shape affect how your weight is distributed on the mattress. Regularly following mattress care instructions can extend its life, and using a suitable base is also crucial.
If you’ve been using the same bed for many years, you might wonder if it’s time for a change. Signs that it’s time to replace your mattress include waking up with pain, spasms, cramps, numbness, or stiffness; tossing and turning at night; not feeling rested upon waking; waking up due to your partner’s movements; and difficulty falling asleep. Changing your mattress is essential for your sleep quality and overall well-being, making it a valuable investment in your health.
Why is it Necessary to Change Beddings Regularly?
Regularly changing your bedding is crucial for maintaining the hygiene of your sleeping environment. Sweat, skin residues, and moisture can lead to the growth of microorganisms if bedding is not frequently sterilized. Therefore, regular bedding changes are necessary for mattress care and to ensure a clean sleeping environment.
How to Ensure Sleep Environment Hygiene?
Hälsa mattresses, made from entirely natural materials, breathe naturally. To maintain sleep environment hygiene, allow your bed to be ventilated regularly with each bedding change. This helps the mattress breathe and maintain its freshness.
How Should I Clean My Mattress?
We spend about a third of our lives in bed, so it’s important to take steps to keep it clean. Regular mattress cleaning helps reduce allergens in your bedroom and keeps your mattress looking and feeling new for many years. To prevent spots from setting or mold from forming, take quick action. Mattress cleaning is simpler than you might think and can be done with basic cleaning tools and common household supplies.
